Franklin Athletic Club is in the process of a multi-million dollar renovation at 29350 Northwestern Highway in Southfield.
Work has already begun. The renovations come just in time for the club’s 50 year anniversary, officially in Fall of 2019. Once completed, it will be one of the most extensive renovations in the club's 50 year history.
Plans include major renovations to update the already state-of-the-art multi-use athletic facility.
Franklin Athletic Club is partnering with Signature and PCI who will lead the project.
"For close to 60 years Franklin Athletic Club has always been at the vanguard of fitness and tennis industries,” explains owner, Rick Brode. "We are making a major investment to continue our heritage of quality instruction and programming for families of Southeast Michigan”.
“Franklin Athletic Club has always been the go-to destination within the Oakland County community for tennis, fitness, and families" club manager, Crystal Love, adds. "With a project of this size, and with a renewed and genuine emphasis placed on programming, service and the member experience, Franklin Athletic Club will once again shine bright and serve as a proud home to all members and their families.”
The club's athletic amenities include indoor tennis courts, racquetball and squash courts, two full size basketball courts, indoor and outdoor pools including a kiddie pool with zero depth entry, cardio workout machines, fitness studios, a newly remodeled TRX studio, a full basketball court, and an indoor walking/running track.
Franklin Athletic Club has a legacy of being an inclusive club for members of all ages from every walk of life; from young families to business movers and shakers.
