Membership Dues:
Franklin shall fix the amount and terms of payment for charges of goods, services, and use of the facilities by members and guests. This includes tennis court reservation fees. From time to time, adjustments must be made in the amount and terms of these various charges; members will be informed when this is necessary.
Dues must be paid regardless of potentially-limited access to the facilities. Sometimes tournaments, repairs, other members’ use of machines, and maintenance require restricted hours and/or access to individual facilities. Dues will not be reduced or suspended during these times, though every effort will be made to keep all facilities in the best possible condition without unduly inconveniencing members.
Franklin Athletic Club will process all monthly dues on the 2nd of each month. You must have either a valid credit card or checking account on file with us. You may prepay before the 2nd with either cash or check to avoid the automatic billing process.
A member who is on medical leave (unable to use the Club facilities) will have reduced responsibility for their monthly dues, required to pay only one-third of the fee. A doctor note stating a minimum of at least one month's convalescence is required to activate a Medical Hold.
For non-extenuating circumstances, memberships run continuously with full dues owed. Please be aware that temporary suspensions are not allowed because of travel schedules or personal needs.
Code of Conduct:
All members must conduct themselves in a pleasant, professional manner. Fighting, abusive language, or any behavior deemed detrimental to the atmosphere of the Club will not be tolerated. Management has the right to immediately suspend or terminate any membership for non-payment of dues, program or court fees, rule violations, or for behavior that affects the enjoyment of the Club by other members. Cell phones are also not permitted on the Fitness Floor, so as not to violate the peace of anyone’s workout experience.
Appropriate Dress:
With the exception of the pool areas, we ask that you please wear shirts, cover-ups and shoes in all common areas of the Club. Appropriate shoes should be worn in exercise classes, Fitness Centers, and on all court surfaces.
Smoking Policy:
We enact a strict No Smoking policy for all areas of the facilities, including the outdoor pool. Please deposit all cigarette butts in the ashtrays provided at each entrance of Club before entering.
Guest Policy:
A member may bring guests in at any time* for a nominal fee. Each guest must register at the Front Desk and be accompanied by a member. If a member cannot arrive at the same time as the guest, please call the Front Desk and inform them of the guest name so they can wait in the lobby until the member arrives.
In consideration of all our members, no more than two children under the age of 21 may be guests at one time.
