About our Program
Fit for Moms is a class that guides expecting women of all fitness levels safely and effectively through pre-natal exercise specifically designed for pregnancy.
Each Class is 1 hour and emphasizes on increasing abdominal strength, posture and strengthening the pelvic floor.
The classes focus on exercises that adapt your body's changes during the three trimesters of pregnancy and post-partum. The classes also follow the ACOG guidelines of pre-natal fitness.
Our program will help you to maintain and increase your fitness level before, during and after your term of pregnancy.
What does our Program Offer?
We offer a variety of classes to help you through childbearing years.
- Water Fitness (WF) Cardiovascular activity with little or no stress on the joints.
- Hydrotone (HT) Hydro Tone equipment is used to shape, tone and strengthen the arms and legs while simultaneously offering cardiovascular benefits.
- Water Yoga (WY) A gentle flow of yoga postures designed to support the body in water.
- Floor Yoga (Y) A balance of muscle lengthening and strengthening
Basic Conditioning (BC) Exercises to increase strength, with an emphasis on abdominals, posture, stretching, and the pelvic floor.
