About the Instructor:
Hi, my name is Kindsey Nelson and I am an ACE (American Council on Exercise) certified personal trainer and hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science. I am a new mother of a baby boy and I am getting back to teaching at Franklin. I have been training for 6 years and I look forward to teaching this fun, new Mommy and Baby Bootcamp program.

I know it is hard to fit exercise into your schedule when you have a new baby. You don't want to leave your baby for long and you are probably a little tired to say the least.

However, exercise is not only very important for your physical well being, but also for your mental well being. That is why I have put together a class that will comfortably ease exercise into your new life.

Benefits of Post-natal Exercise class:
Post-natal exercise can be very beneficial to you and your baby.

  • Help new mothers establish healthy exercise goals that can be used for the rest of your life
  • Enhance new mothers' cardiovascular fitness, strength, and mental well-being
  • Strengthen the bond between mother and baby
  • Provide a great chance for new mothers to socialize together

About the Program:
Class is held on Wednesdays
12:30-1:30pm
This class is designed to help new mothers learn to incorporate exercise into lifestyle changes and to overcome the barriers of exercise.

Class is one hour long and ongoing throughout the year. We will do cardio exercises and resistance training with our babies.

Just bring your baby and stroller, and let the boot camp begin!
Ages 6 weeks-10 months welcome.
