Catherine Russell
Aquatics Manager

Catherine Russell joined the Franklin staff the fall of '08 as the Aquatic Manager.  At Franklin, she teaches lessons both  private and semi-private.  She has been teaching children to swim for over 15 years as well as coaching for one of the premire swim teams in Michigan, the Birmingham Blue Dolphins.
Her certifications include:  Water Safety Instructor, Lifeguard Instructor, Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR, AED

Taylor Turczyn

Aquatics professional

Comes to the Franklin Athletic Club Aquatic team with his experience of teaching swim lessons for over 5 years.   He has a great rapport  with children and loves to teach.  Taylor has been a lifeguard for over five years working at the City of Oak Park Community Pool and the Birmingham YMCA, as well as Franklin Athletic Club.

Ann Waldman

Aquatic Professional

Ann comes to Franklin with much experience. She is a Water Safety Instructor. She comes to us with 18 years experience as a High School Varsity Swim Coach, a Former Masters Swim Coach, 20 years experience in developmental swimming for all ages. She specializes in Parent-Tot, Pre-School, Adult Learn-to Swim and advanced stroke correction. She is available for Group or Private swim lessons

The Aquatics team here at Franklin Athletic Club are eager to see you this year. We are a team that works together to make sure that everyone's needs are met to the highest standard.
