Summer Camps

Franklin offers three age groups for our campers in order to offer them the very best experience as well as age appropriate material. All campers will play games, make arts and craft, play outdoors on our large play structure, swim, play tennis and explore our giant inflatable play area. Our friendly and enthusiastic staff will keep your kids smiling all day long.

Kindercamp
Ages 3-5 years
All children must be potty trained. 		Jr. Explorers

The weekly camp themes are designed to be enjoyed by all three camp groups. The themes will stay the same but the material covered for each camp will be age appropriate.
Time:
Full day: 9:00 - 4:00
Extended day:7:30 - 9:00 and 4:00 - 6:00

It’s a bird, it’s a plane, No, it's Super Hero Week. Get ready to have a super week at Franklin designing your own super hero costume and developing your super hero powers.

If you are wise you will listen to me? Come to Franklin for a week of candy mayhem.
Week July 12-16 Halloween in July
What could be better than Halloween twice a year? Join us for a week of spooky crafts and trick or treating.
Week July 19–23 Spirit Week
We’ve got spirit, yes we do! We’ve got spirit, how about you?
Lets get wacky at Franklin this week with wacky hair day and wacky Olympics.

Mad Scientist
We’ve gone Mad!!! Join us in making oogy gooey lotions and potions.

Lego: Ready, Set, Build!
Join us for a week of Lego fun. Lets build, test and race all of our wonderful Lego creations.

Mission Impossible
Calling all super sleuths! Your mission should you choose to accept it, is to join us for a week of fun spying and solving mysteries.

Game Show
All campers come on down! Get ready to be the next contestant on your favorite Franklin game show.

Blast from the Past
Shake, rattle and roll through the past 4 decades learning about music, dance and trends from way back when.
Week August 30 – September 3 Back to School Blues
Good-bye blues, hello fun! Say goodbye to summer with one last great week at Franklin.

Franklin’s Got Talent Sleepover Party. Show off what you learned during Rock Star week by jamming to your favorite music at the Franklin Talent Show.
July 23 Spirit Week
Pajama Party at Franklin. Let’s jump, waddle and roll during our Wacky Olympics sleepover. Oh and don’t forget, you have to be wearing Pj’s to participate!
August 13 Mission Impossible Week
Put on your spy gear and get ready to run around, be dramatic and catch the villain at our murder mystery sleepover.

Safety Begins With Me
Miss. Lori will teach the children about how to be safe both indoors and out. A special visit from Inspector Elbow, with the Southfield Fire Department is also planned during this insightful week on how to stay safe.
June 28-July 2 Happy Birthday America!
The children will celebrate the world and themselves in this fun filled patriotic week. Red, white and blue are the colors of this week as the children strike up the band!
July 6-July 9 Down On The Farm
Farmer John visits at the end of the week with his farm animals!

Frightenly Franklinstein
What better than Halloween twice a year? Join in as the entire club celebrates Halloween in July. Trick or Treating and costumes are a must!!
July 19-July 23 Franklin Camp Olympics
On your mark, get set, go!! Franklin will be the host of the 2010 Summer Olympics and you child has made the team. Enjoy a fun-filled week of sports and olympic activities!!
July 26-30 Come To The Fair
The children will plan and create a game for a carnival booth, as well as make decorations for a camp carnival. There will be cotton candy, popcorn and more!
August 2-6 Dora Explores The Rainforest
It’s hot, it’s wet, and it’s full of creepy crawly things!
August 9-13 The Magic Kingdom
Come along and sing a song, and join the jamboree! This fun filled week is all things Disney!
