Kristin Davies has been teaching snorkeling and scuba diving since 2005 and spent several years running water sports operations in the Fiji Islands. Since moving back home to Michigan she continues teaching adults and kids to love the water through new and exciting experiences.
Kristin is affiliated with Bruno's Dive Shop, a full service NAUI and SSI Platinum Pro Instructor Training Facility based in Clinton Township. Training scuba divers for nearly half a century, it is one of the few dive shops in Michigan that can boast a fully stocked retail floor, scuba equipment and tank servicing facility, on-site multi-depth heated training pool as well as a Coast Guard certified dive charter boat - the Great Lakes Diver.

Franklin can provide all levels of training, from your very first snorkeling experience all the way through entry level scuba training to advanced and even instructor. We would like you to be a diver and aim to make the training process as easy, understandable and affordable as possible.
As long as you are in reasonable health, anyone from the age of 8 and up can try a dive. 8-12 year olds can join Franklin's Scuba Rangers in our pool, 12 year olds can take a Junior Open Water course and from 14 upwards you can get certified as an Open Water Diver.
Please note that some training will require the use of a deeper pool and thus will be held at Bruno’s Dive Shop, Clinton Township, Michigan.

Scuba Rangers Camp
A 5 session program where your child will learn water safety, snorkeling and basic SCUBA diving to become a Scuba Ranger. Knowledge and water skills are developed each session, finishing with a demonstration for friends and family of everything accomplished.
But the fun doesn’t end there! Specialty classes are available after the initial program to increase your child’s scuba knowledge, learn more about the ocean, play great games and have way more fun with the other club Rangers.

Parents must be available on the first day of Scuba Rangers Camp to fill in the necessary paperwork and watch a short risk awareness video. No more than 20 minutes. A minimum of 3 campers are required for this class.
Scuba diving is NOT an activity for everyone. There are a few health issues that do not go well with diving. Please download this medical form and email it back to scuba instructor, Kristin Davies, kdavies16@gmail.com. She will get back to you promptly with an OK to register.
