Welcome to the
Yellow Bee Room
2.8 - 3.4 years old
The Yellow Bee class is a very special class, of young three year olds. We believe children learn best through play and hands on experiences, so we sing, read, play games, make believe, color, paint and glue.
Through every activity we are learning as we follow our theme based curriculum. We want our children to love coming to school, to feel comfortable separating from their parents, to develop good listening skills, to be self confident, independent and able to get along with others. We want them to love learning. Through everything we do we are on our way to reaching these goals.

 Let me introduce myself. My name is Roberta Pinsky. Before joining the Franklin Academy staff, I was a teacher for five years at Echo Park, teaching the young three year old class. I have been in the preschool classroom for the last 20 years. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree and my teaching degree from Wayne State University and have continued taking workshops and seminars in early childhood education. I am married and have a son who is a doctor and a daughter-in-law who is a medical student, both at Stanford University, and a daughter who is a photojournalist. |
